Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children General Endowment

Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) is the largest provider of private, not-for-profit, residential childcare in the state. With locations in Oklahoma City, Owasso, Madill, and Edmond, OBHC seeks to provide hope and home for children, without discriminating based on race, color, national origin, or religious affiliation. OBHC does not charge for services or accept government funds.

Baptist Children’s Home, OKC

The Oklahoma City campus highlights the Children’s Hope program. Children’s Hope was developed to help single moms, who may have limited or no support/resources, by providing an opportunity to develop a solid foundation for herself and the children in her custody. In the past 10 years, Children’s Hope has helped more than 300 families and impacted more than 550 children.

Baptist Children’s Home, Owasso

The Owasso campus is located on the northeast side of the Tulsa metro area. Situated on approximately 40 acres in the growing community of Owasso, the campus reflects the surrounding neighborhood and community, where residents can feel safe and secure in a family setting. The campus is a full-service facility which provides basic care services, educational opportunities, and appropriate lifestyle experiences for residents ages 5-17. The campus also offers housing and services for pregnant or parenting adolescent girls as well as a program for single adult mothers with children.

Baptist Home for Girls, Madill

Baptist Home for Girls is located in a rural setting surrounded by two small communities. This rural setting is conducive to a slower pace of life and the opportunities that rural and small town settings bring. The campus is involved in 4-H and FFA programs with an active and therapeutic animal program that teaches traditional rural values, pride of ownership, responsibility, and caring for others.

Boys Ranch Town, Edmond

Boys Ranch Town (BRT) is a 145-acre working ranch located in a rural setting within the city limits of Edmond. Boys Ranch Town offers many activities for residents including 4-H, animal programs, sports, crafts, trail rides, campouts and rodeos. The residents attend Edmond Public Schools and are encouraged to participate in school activities such as FFA, JROTC, band and school sports.

Hope Pregnancy Centers

The mission of Hope Pregnancy Centers is to help young men and women have hope and choose life in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy. Some of the no-cost and confidential services provided at the five locations include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting programs, adoption information, abortion recovery help, and community referrals. Hope Pregnancy Centers seek to encourage, to affirm dignity and self-worth, and to suggest positive options for individual situations and needs, without judgment or cost, so that as each individual comes into a Hope Pregnancy Center, he or she finds Christ’s love.
